Graphictive ventures into printing with Canon
Ahmedabad-based Graphictive recently invested in a Canon ImagePress V700. First such machine bought from Canon India, this compact and capable digital colour production system is packed with advanced features and capabilities to print graphics in crisp and colourful textures that stand out amid the crowd.

Established in 2015, Graphictive has been working primarily for premium clients. “Most of our high-value clients are from the corporate sector. Stood on a small footprint, iPR V700 at Graphictive delivers oversized print outputs which any other digital production press in its class couldn’t ever do. It operates at the speed of 70 A4-ppm to print graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x2,400-dpi on a board array of standard paper sizes like SRA3, A3, A4, and long sheets up to 1,300-mm. When it comes to handling different paper grammages, iPR V700 is capable of tackling both lightweight and heavyweight papers ranging from 52- up to 350-gsm. Further, it flexibly handles varied media, including covers, envelopes, synthetics, coated and luxury textured papers.
“After years of exclusive engagement in graphic designing, we have eventually invested in the iPR V700 for venturing into printing because our clients want us to get involved in printing of their finished products and projects,” Ghinaiya said. It has been just a matter of three to four months since the Canon digital colour production press started running at Graphictive.
