GlueChek+ offers high-resolution imaging inspection for UV-additive-free adhesives

The newly launched GlueChek+ retains all the capabilities of its predecessor while introducing a key advantage: the ability to inspect liquid adhesives without requiring a UV additive. GlueChek+ utilises high-speed cameras to capture real-time images of every carton as it moves down the folder-gluer. If a defect is detected, the ClearVision system immediately displays the defect, alerts an operator and tracks the defect to the end of the gluer where it can be sprayed or removed from the machine. All images are displayed on a high-resolution screen, providing a clear view of each glued carton. The ClearVision software highlights defects and specifies the exact gluing error. The GlueChek+ camera can verify glue placement, volume, and presence to ensure each adhesive pattern is applied correctly. 

Additionally, all production data and detected defects are recorded for statistical analysis and root cause evaluation. This allows manufacturers to take proactive measures to prevent future issues and help guarantee seamless, uninterrupted production.

Beyond detecting glue defects, GlueChek+ also identifies fold errors, making it especially valuable for auto-lock, four-, and six-corner boxes. It detects issues related to tab or panel length, skewing, and printed marks with an accuracy of up to 0.5-mm, so that only high-quality cartons leave the production line.
