Frankfurt Book Fair Pre-Departure Meet on 15 September
In the run-up to the Frankfurt Book Fair 2017, to be held from 11 to 15 October, the German Book Office, New Delhi is hosting the Frankfurt Book Fair Pre-Departure Meet to resolve all FBF-related queries and also to offer some insider tips and tricks before heading out for this year’s Fair. The meet will take place on 15 September at Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi.

As Prashasti Rastogi, director, GBO, New Delhi explained, Frankfurt Book Fair hosts more than 7,200 exhibitors, 300,000 visitors and 9,000 accredited journalists from over 100 countries, and over 3,200 special events every year, making it the world's largest annual trade fair for publishing. It is a meeting place for the industry’s experts and the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licences worldwide.
“With a fair this large, it is important to be discovered and to discover the right audience,” Rastogi said. “This year at the Frankfurt Book Fair Pre-Departure Meet, New Delhi, we bring the ideas and strategies that will help our exhibitors and business visitors stand out.”
Along with a general presentation, the meet will also see a panel discussion with some key players of the publishing industry who will share the knowhow on international business development opportunity.
