Pepyn Dinandt, the CEO of Flint Group Packaging Solutions, framed the rebrand as a necessary response to fundamental market shifts. He said, “We are seeing a market evolution across substrates, packaging formats, and coatings to enhance recyclability while replacing complex structures.
He positioned the reorganised entity as a "true platform supplier," committed to spearheading innovation, sustainability, and service to meet the current and future needs of brand owners and packaging printers.
The strategic direction is driven by the belief that the company’s future lies in the "attractive packaging market," which offers high exposure to "resilient, growing consumer sectors". This vision is supported by the company's scale and technical expertise, allowing it to navigate the dynamic packaging landscape and "grow alongside our customers".
Flint Group Packaging Solutions reported revenues of USD 1.61-billion for 2025.
The solutions-driven organisation operates through five core business segments: flexible packaging, paper and board, narrow-web, sheetfed offset, Flint Group Digital Xeikon.
These businesses deliver sustainable inks, coatings, and tailored solutions, including innovative digital print consumables and engines that meet evolving market demands for efficient, regulatory-compliant production.
While focusing firmly on packaging, the company will maintain support for its specialised businesses. Flint Group’s Day Transfer Media business remains a supplier of high-performance print consumables, and its Varn Chemicals business is positioned as a partner for sheetfed and flexo printers worldwide. Flint Group Web Offset also continues to support customers with proven heatset and news inks solutions.
The rebrand includes a new logo and a modernised visual identity meant to signify "agility, speed, and focus" on packaging solutions.
Dinandt said the transformation reflects a future "firmly committed to integrated solutions for a full range of packaging applications," driven by a shared ambition to foster a more sustainable and innovative future for packaging. The company also noted its intention to grow organically or through strategic acquisitions.
