At the Pamex exhibition, Excel Machinery is showcasing its Maxima 2840, a large-format die-punching machine built entirely with indigenous Indian technology. Managing director Jitendra Patel highlighted the machine’s versatility as its primary competitive advantage, noting its ability to process various substrates, including duplex board, corrugated material, and E-flute on a single platform.

The Ahmedabad-based manufacturer has established a strong presence in the regional market, with 75 installations currently active in Mumbai. During the event, Patel set an ambitious growth target for the coming year, aiming to reach 100 installations in the city and 500 units nationwide by the end of 2026.

Patel noted that the outlook for the packaging industry remains robust, driven by a shift toward durable, locally manufactured machinery.
