According to the company’s managing director, K Mohamed Ismail, it has sold almost 80% of the equipment displayed at Pamex. He said, “The third day of the show brings more prospects.”

Electro Mec is targeting publications, the rigid box industry and the packaging industry. One of the top highlights is the fully servo-controlled rigid box-making machine with a Yamaha dual robotic arm and two box wrapping units.

Ismail said, “It works at the speed of 30 boxes per machine, making it easy to use and versatile. It can be used to produce sweet boxes, mobile phone boxes, luxury boxes, pens, electrical packaging boxes, cosmetics, and other commercial products.”

With an automatic paper feeder featuring a servo sensor controller, paper feeding is stable, accurate, and free from deformation, ensuring high production efficiency. The machine also guarantees precise paper handling with the help of self-centering function for paper stacks and standard glue viscosity.

Talking about the demand, Ismail noted that the trend is shaping up towards gift packaging, as the economy is improving. And this is giving rise to competition in the market.

Fahad Qadri, marketing manager, Electro Mec Machinery Manufacturers, shared about the six-clamp machine. He said, “In this show, we have displayed the upgraded six-clamp machine, which is a new iteration of the upgraded version of our own.”

Every year, the company does an upgrade to the same machine with a few tweaks. For example, the previous model was chain-driven, and currently, the machine is cam-driven. This gives it a performance boost for heavy-duty and high-volume applications.
