It was three years ago when iECHO PK 0705 Plus was installed at Cosmic Arts, followed by iECHO PK4 1007 six months back.
Supplied and installed by Packnology Graphics, both the iECHO machines are currently engaging in high-precision cutting and finishing at Cosmic Arts’ post-press unit where accuracy and efficiency are redefined in a transformative way to uphold a whole new standard, far ahead of the usual traditional manual methods.
Arun Menon, managing director, Cosmic Arts, said, “This model offers sheetfed digital die-cutting including an option for grooving on kappa boards, which in turn facilitates faster production of rigid gift box samples when compared to traditional methods. Additionally, following the machine’s demonstration and interaction with the Packnology team, information was provided regarding their after-sales support. While multiple companies offer similar products available readily in the market, a key consideration is the quality of after-sales service support.”
He added, “After our satisfactory experience with the first Iecho machine, we were in search of a machine similar to it and capable to provide us digital die-cutting of thicker materials like EVA foam and others. That is when we were introduced to Iecho PK4 1007. Since we had already been impressed by the first Iecho machine and dedicated after-sales service of Packnology, our decision to go with the second machine was quick.”
Since its inception in 2004, Cosmic Arts has been serving clients of all types from different sectors, businesses, and walks of life, providing them complete marketing and promotional solutions. “In order to help our clients’ businesses achieve maximum results and effectiveness, we constantly upgrade ourselves on all fronts, including our machine portfolio. For instance, our investment in the second Iecho machine with additional features eventually helps us improve post-press finishing to a whole new level, impressing our clients,” Menon said.
According to Menon, the Iecho PK4 1007 has the advanced features which are both valuable and practical. “Notably, this highly automated sheet-fed cutting system can cut various materials up to 15mm in thickness and it is equipped with a 450W router accessory designed for accurately cutting acrylic materials up to 8-mm thick,” he added.
Menon added that the precision of the Iecho machines is commendable. In this, he said the company has experienced improvement in the Iecho PK4 1007 as compared to the first model. “Attaining such accuracy in a sheetfed cutting machine is notably challenging; however, the Iecho has successfully accomplished this through the integration of additional camera sensors,” he said.
Some of the key products or applications which Cosmic Arts is currently pulling off with the Iecho machines include carry bags, envelopes, stickers, fridge magnets, danglers, tent cards, zig-saw puzzles, coasters, packaging boxes, rigid gift boxes, etc.
