The second day of Pamex 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre saw a steady influx of visitors seeking precision in industrial marking. Amidst the high-speed presses and finishing equipment, Mumbai-headquartered Control Print is positioning itself not through a singular flagship product, but through a versatile, customer-centric portfolio designed to solve complex shopfloor challenges.
Subodh Kamble, senior territory sales manager at Control Print, noted that the exhibition has served as a critical touchpoint for understanding evolving customer requirements. He explained that the company’s philosophy centres on the application rather than the hardware.
Control Print is showcasing an array of technologies, including thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers, PRG systems, and high-resolution (HR) printers. These machines are essential for batch carving and marking variable data such as MRP, manufacturing dates, and barcodes across diverse substrates.
"So far, so good," he remarked regarding the footfall. When asked about immediate deals on the floor, he noted that the company prioritises consultative selling. While the show is currently in the engagement phase, Kamble expressed satisfaction with the quality of traction.
The coding and marking industry in India is witnessing a shift toward high-resolution marking and low-maintenance systems. Control Print’s TIJ and HR offerings cater specifically to this demand, providing clean, high-contrast marks on everything from porous cartons to non-porous plastics.
As the only prominent Indian manufacturer in this space, Control Print’s presence at Pamex 2026 highlights the strength of homegrown engineering in providing localised service and reliable consumables.
