Located in the Ollur region of Thrissur, Kerala, Change Digital Printers caters to a variety of commercial and digital printing needs, including visiting cards, brochures, magazines, wedding cards, short-run labels and boxes, and indoor advertising flex printing. The Thrissur facility operates with five staff members in a single shift.

Saajan T Pulikottil, founder of Change Digital Printers, highlighted the facility's previous struggles with fulfilling customer requests for short-run boxes and labels due to the lack of a fast and robust solution. The decision to invest in the Bindwel SigLoch Xe-Cut was influenced by factors such as good quality, the machine being made in India, and the availability of local services.

Since the installation of the SigLoch Xe-Cut, Pulikottil reports significant improvements. "The number of jobs and the speed of finishing have increased," he stated. "Customised jobs are being completed on time, we are delivering faster to customers, and the quality of finishing has improved with minimal wastage." He also noted that the Bindwel machine allows for all operations to be completed in a single pass, with reduced skilled labour requirements, thanks to features such as an auto feeder and QR Code reader.

Pulikottil shared a recent success story involving the Bindwel machine, where they were able to take on and complete a job for 500 carton boxes for packaging appam for exports – a job they previously had to turn away. The job was completed in six hours and delivered within a day.

Furthermore, Pulikottil emphasised the advantages of using Indian-made Bindwel machines, stating, "The most important is that the Bindwel machines are made in India, they are robust and complete the job with consistency and on time. The machine does not face breakdowns, and the requirement for servicing is less, leading to excellent production time."

This investment in Bindwel’s SigLoch Xe-Cut positions Change Digital Printers to better serve its customers with increased efficiency, improved quality, and the capacity to handle a wider range of printing jobs, particularly in the growing short-run packaging segment.
