Glimpses of World History for Penguin Random House India is a 1200-page book of 153x234mm size. The text is printed in single-colour on 52gsm Holmen bulky paper on a Heidelberg machine. The cover is 250gsm one side coated art card with matte lamination and four-colour printing. Replika produced 5,000 copies of this section-sewn paperback book. This book showcases Replika’s capability to produce thick books with high page count and that too on a high-bulk paper.
India After Gandhi for Pan Macmillan India is a 956-page book of 153x234mm size. The inner pages are printed in single-colour on a 60gsm Stora Creamy paper and the end leaves are printed in four-colour on 120gsm gloss art paper. The hard case has a special cloth pasted over 3mm board with foiling and debossing on front, spine and back. One of the special features of this book is that among the 5,000 copies of books produced four different colours are used for edge-colouring.
Indira Gandhi: A Life in Nature for Simon & Schuster India is a 448-page book of 153x234mm size. The book jacket is decorated with two-colour foiling, spot UV, abrasive UV and embossing. With all these post-press finishing, 3,000 copies of the book were accomplished within a week’s time by the firm.
Oxford Dictionary of Quotations for Oxford University Press UK is a 1168-page book with perfect rounding of the back. The inner pages are printed on 80gsm offset paper while the end leaves are printed in 120gsm offset paper. The jacket is a four-colour printed 130gsm gloss art paper with gloss lamination. The spine is decorated with two-ribbon foiling. It exemplifies the company’s ability to effectively handle dictionary size jobs.
