Jodhpur-based DTP Point has installed a Bindwel XE-Cut die-cutting and creasing machine to improve productivity and reduce turnaround time across its digital printing operations.

Founded by Sanjay Batra, DTP Point operates three facilities in Jodhpur and serves sectors including event management, handicrafts, education, healthcare, hospitality, and small and medium businesses. The company undertakes a wide range of work, from invitations and labels to marketing collateral, stationery, and book binding.

Prior to the investment, DTP Point faced delays due to limitations in its older die-cutting setup. Manual handling and multiple processing stages affected efficiency and job completion times.

The Bindwel XE-Cut has streamlined operations by combining creasing and cutting in a single pass. According to the company, this has improved speed, consistency, and overall output quality. Features such as automatic paper pickup, bulk job stacking, and flexible software controls have enabled faster job changes and reduced operator intervention.

The machine is now used across all die-cutting and creasing applications, including event-related jobs and customised packaging such as small boxes for visiting cards and premium stationery.

Batra said the machine had met the objectives set at the time of purchase. He added that Bindwel’s technical support team had been responsive and effective in resolving issues, and confirmed that DTP Point would recommend Bindwel equipment to other printers.
