Bengaluru’s Colour Prints gets PixelGlow

The company’s fleet is now upgraded with a PixelGlow Lumina, a digital UV print embellishment printer. This digital UV print enhancement machine, which now adds a magical touch to prints at Colour Prints, was bought from Monotech Systems. 

S Ramdas, co-partner, Colour Prints, said the primary reason for choosing the digital UV print enhancement system is that customers nowadays want to get every piece of graphic print embellished with attractive effects and textures. “For that, PixelGlow Lumina meets exactly what we need to do to fulfil our customers’ demands and desires,” he said.

It operates at the speed of 60-sph adorning substrates up to the size of 14x20-inch for larger and more dynamic graphic prints. 

Ramdas said the PixelGlow Lumina really gives a new avatar to any graphic print with tactile and eye-catching finishes in a wonderful resolution. It is engineered to embellish prints in a resolution of 600x600-dpi. It’s flexible enough to handle varied substrates ranging from 130- up to 600-gsm. 

According to Ramdas, PixelGlow Lumina has empowered them with a new confidence to smarten up any given ordinary print into a gorgeous look, even beyond the expectation of their customers. He adds, “Since we started running the machine in our facility, we have created a lot of striking UV coatings, achieving perfect finishes for intricate designs and textures. With this, we now bring artistic designs to life and elevate graphics to tactile and catchy finishes. In fact, a whole new chapter of print innovations has opened in our facility with the PixelGlow Lumina.”
