Assam Printech was founded with the vision of delivering reliable and high-quality printing solutions to the North-East region of India. Backed by over 20 years of industry experience, the company started with conventional printing and gradually expanded into digital printing and advanced post-press technologies.
“Continuous investment in modern equipment and skilled manpower has helped Assam Printech adapt to changing market needs while maintaining a strong focus on quality, consistency, and timely delivery,” Saurav Gangwal of Assam Printech said, adding, “TechNova supported us in machine selection, installation, training, and ongoing technical assistance.”
The company operates in commercial printing, digital printing, and value-added post-press solutions, such as spot UV and foiling. The business is led by Gangwal, supported by experienced production, design, and pre-press teams.
Gangwal said, “There is a clear increase in demand for digital post-press solutions due to faster turnaround requirements, short runs, and the growing need for premium finishes.”
He added that the major challenges in post-press business today include a lack of skilled manpower, rising costs, and tight delivery timelines. Digital automation helps address these challenges effectively. Talking about challenges in technology adoption, he added, “The initial resistance and training requirements were challenges, which were resolved through structured training and strong technical support. The operators needed time to adapt to new software and workflows. Hands-on training and continuous guidance ensured smooth adoption.”
Post-installation, Gangwal said, print quality and visual appeal have improved significantly. Turnaround time has reduced, wastage is lower, and customer satisfaction has increased. We have upgraded our digital printing and finishing setup to ensure smooth integration with the DDC-810.”
Gangwal expects steady growth through premium applications, better margins, and increased customer demand. “Reduced outsourcing, lower wastage, and faster job completion will ensure a strong return on investment. TechNova’s continued service and application support help us maximise the value of the DDC-810,” he concluded.
