The Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA), in collaboration with CRISIL, will launch the State of Counterfeiting in India 2025 report at TAF Connect 2026, a one-day national conference scheduled for 16 March in Mumbai.
The report provides sector-specific insights, emerging risk trends and actionable strategies to combat counterfeiting across pharmaceuticals, FMCG and agriculture. The initiative aims to reinforce India’s focus on consumer safety, supply-chain integrity and brand protection.
TAF Connect 2026 will bring together brand owners, regulators, policymakers and solution providers. The conference agenda includes panel discussions, technical presentations, policy dialogues and solution showcases designed to translate awareness into implementation-ready anti-counterfeiting measures.
Mankind Pharma and Crystal Crop Protection are supporting the initiative as National Consumer Trust and Safety Partners. The event is also backed by CropLife India and the Irrigation Association of India, broadening its cross-sector engagement.
Ankit Gupta, president of ASPA, said, “TAF Connect 2026 is built on collaboration and industry leadership. The launch of the ASPA–CRISIL ‘State of Counterfeiting in India 2025’ report at the conference will provide critical sectorial insights and actionable strategies to combat counterfeiting across key industries. The support of forward-looking brands such as Mankind Pharma and Crystal Crop Protection demonstrates how industry stakeholders can come together to strengthen consumer trust, enhance supply-chain transparency, and enable responsible growth. The conference will provide single-window access to the authentication and traceability ecosystem from secure packaging and overt and covert technologies to digital track-and-trace and smart authentication solutions making it a must-attend platform for brands seeking innovation and implementation-ready solutions.”
TAF Connect is positioned as India’s national platform on authentication and traceability, with the Mumbai edition highlighting the western region’s growing role in industry-led consumer protection and trusted supply chains.
ASPA, founded in 1998, describes itself as the world’s first self-regulated non-profit body representing physical and digital authentication and traceability solution providers. The association works to raise awareness around brand, document and revenue protection, while educating stakeholders on the adoption of technology-driven authentication systems.
