Dhanji Dubariya, managing director of Ashapura Digital Print, said, “We were looking for a solution that could efficiently handle short runs, intricate cutting, creasing, and packaging mock-ups. The JWEI digital cutting device stood out for its precision, flexibility, and ease of use.”
He added, “TechNova played a critical role in understanding our specific production needs, demonstrating the machine’s capabilities and providing pre-sale and post-sale support. Their team guided us at every step, making the selection process seamless and reassuring.
Ashapura Digital Print was established in 2010 with a focus on providing quality printing and packaging services. The company began with conventional digital printing and gradually diversified into packaging, commercial print, and digital services. With over 15 years of experience, it has built a reputation for reliability, quality, and innovation in the industry.
The company primarily engages in packaging, commercial printing, and digital finishing. Its services include offset printing, digital short-run packaging, label printing, and custom finishing solutions. Dhanji Dubariya as the managing director oversees company strategy and business growth, while Yash Dubariya, as the production head, is responsible for managing print and post-press operations.
Dubariya said, “We have seen a significant rise in demand for short-run, customised, and on-demand jobs. This shift has created a strong need for flexible, automated digital post-press solutions to meet turnaround times without compromising quality.”
According to Dubariya, the major challenges in post-press today include shorter turnaround times; increasing demand for customisation and rising labour costs and skill shortages. As a solution, Dubariya suggests adopting automated and digital post-press technology; investing in staff training and upskilling and streamlining workflow with integrated digital solutions.
He said, “The installation of the digital cutting device was planned meticulously with the help of TechNova's technical team. They ensured proper training, integration with our workflow, and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.”
Dubariya said he expects a 20–30% increase in our short-run packaging business over the next year. “With reduced wastage and faster turnaround, we anticipate achieving ROI within 18–24 months,” he concluded.
