The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has accepted the name change request from Arets Graphics India. A part of the Toyo group, Arets is a Belgian-based manufacturer of UV and EB inks with a sales reach in more than 100 countries. The company has a 10-year strong presence in India.

 

Toyo Ink Group, the leader of printing ink and chemical business had acquired Arets Graphics NV with all their group companies in 2013.

 

On 1 January 2015, when Arets Graphics NV renamed itself as Toyo Ink Arets NV, the transformation took some time for the Indian subsidiary. "There already was an existing organisation with a similar name; Toyo Ink India, operating in India. Therefore, it took several NOCs and approval before the ROC awarded us the new name," said Prashant Atre, managing director, Toyo Ink Arets India.

 

Arets Graphics has developed a new series, SteraFlex, a high strength and reactive and good adhesion of UV flexo ink system, for the label and flexible packaging segment. At Label Expo 2014, Arets Graphics had launched its new series of UV flexo inks. The launch was chaired by Kataro Yoshida, the chairman of Toyo India and Luc Dehanschutter, global manager, Arets.
