The All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) has elected a new leadership team, installing C Ravinder Reddy as its president for the 2025–26 term. The announcement came during the federation’s 72nd Annual General Body Meeting, held at the Holiday Inn Lucknow Airport on 12-13 October.

Reddy, of Sravya Grafics, succeeds Satish Malhotra and takes the helm of the nation's leading printing industry body. According to a federation press note, he “brings a wealth of experience and a strong vision to advance the federation’s mission of empowering printers across the nation through modernisation, education, and digital transformation.”

Reddy’s approach to leadership is methodical. He maintains a disciplined routine, starting his day at 5:30 am with yoga and a walk before reviewing his printing press’s schedules. He then dedicates the late afternoon to industry matters, a practice honed during his successful tenure as president of the Telangana Offset Printers Association (TOPA).

It is this track record that suggests his priorities for the AIFMP.

Under his leadership, TOPA achieved major objectives. Reddy shared with PrintWeek that "When we founded TOPA, we had three primary objectives." The first was changing the electricity tariff, a goal achieved after seven years of determination. The second was securing land and building, with a one-acre plot and a 6,500-sqft building nearing completion, poised to be “one of the largest by an Indian printing association." A third vision is to establish a skill development centre to cultivate growth opportunities for Telangana’s youth and existing employees. "This centre is crucial for creating a skilled workforce within our industry," Reddy shared.

A key focus for Reddy will be the federation’s MSME members. As the outgoing chairman of the AIFMP’s MSME Welfare Standing Committee, he launched two international tech summits and championed the formation of MSME clusters to boost collaboration and collective bargaining power. His immediate plan is to establish a dedicated MSME Cell at the AIFMP office to help members navigate complex government schemes.

C Ravinder Reddy's aim is to establish a thriving print industry. As the president of AIFMP, we hope he does so.
