Marks Emballage started in 2013 with a modest label production facility to cater to pharma businesses in Baddi. Today, the company caters to some of the key names in the pharma industry.

"When I look into a mirror every day, I see Aaditya Kashyap. That makes my day," says the director of the company, Aaditya Kashyap, with confidence.

He believes that the technological developments in the last 12 years in the world of flexography have been very impressive. "Today, flexo has reached a level where it can replace gravure easily with its advancement in plates, pre-press techniques, inks, aniloxes and printing machines. The Kodak Flat Top Dot technology has also significantly contributed to the improvement in print quality."

Kashyap reveals that his team is working on developing some AR projects with its labels. "We have some very exciting use cases, which we are working very closely with some of the leading brands," he adds.

One thing that has impressed Kashyap was their first print run off the new Gallus presses, which they installed in 2018.

"This is a great time for reflection and find your 'why'," suggests Kashyap. "This is not about looking at what others are doing and blindly copying. It’s about understanding the unique role your brand plays in people’s lives, how that has changed, and how your brand can help or be useful during this crisis. It's also about looking for opportunities to lead by example, and doing the right things that make sense for your business."
