Noel D'cunha and Rushikesh Aravkar say, in the next five years, digital print will be 50% of the market - even in India. The reason: the machines are available. And many more commercial printers have to start using large-format sheetfed digital that will really open the market.
As the photographs indicate, the market is no longer for A4 pages. As the Drupa mantra goes: it's about signatures, not pages - and Indian printers need to get page impressions out of our heads.
