The features-packed, 18,000sph press, which will be installed at Parkson's Rudrapur plant, is expected to raise the company's bar on productivity and high precision quality control inspection system inline
Polykam Offset has installed a Komori Enthrone 29 four-colour printing press. Delhi-based Pearl Printers has recently installed an eight-up Kodak Trendsetter platesetter. The kit, which can produce plates up to 28x40-inch, now replaces the company’s existing Screen CTP. (r) According to Ashwani Thapar, proprietor at Pearl, his company produces more than 250 plates in a 24-hour production shift and needed a heavy-duty processor. Mumbai-based, Hi-Tech Systems have installed a DG binder extra hotmelt glue automation album binding machine at Sood Studios in Ludhiana. Parag Shah, the head at Hi-Tech, said, “The DG binder extra from Kisun, South Korea allows binding offset as well as photo paper. The machine has the capacity to bind up to 250 albums per day in a single shift”
