Integrated with the new Pod-Surf (surface rapid fusing), the ImagePress V1000 maintains a consistent print speed of 100 A4 pages/min on coated and heavy media types up to 400-gsm, sustaining efficiency when printing complex and mixed media jobs. With multiple feeding options and remote alerts, operators can change media and toner and remove toner waste while keeping the machine running for maximum productivity. It’s driven by high-end D3000 Fiery to process print files quicker.

What was the thought process when the press was conceived?
The machine is designed to address the challenges of the graphic print environment, such as consistent print quality, front-back registration, high media switching time, limited media handling capability, lesser productivity and low equipment life. The newly incorporated technologies in the ImagePress V1000 address these challenges.

What kind of substrates can it handle?
It can print on plain, thick, embossed, film, OHP, envelope, synthetic, and magnetic paper stocks.

What is the target market(s)?
The machine is targeted at jobber (print for pay), commercial offset printers, book printers and packaging printers for their short runs, print on demand and variable data printing requirements.
