A machine dedicated to all kinds of UV coating, the all-new and upgraded High Drip Master from SASG UV Solutions is a successor to the Drip Master UV coater. Sankoch Gaur, director-technical, SASG UV Solutions, says, “Over the years, we have kept upgrading our product portfolio with newer and upgraded machine models. The High Drip Master is one of the latest UV coating systems that we have added to our portfolio.”
The machine is aimed at commercial printers, packaging converters, and jobbers engaged in making ordinary print outputs innovative and attractive. The High Drip Master supports several coating types for creating additional effects, textures, and designs.
Built on the Heidelberg platform, the High Drip Master is a highly efficient machine for varied applications like spot UV, drip-off and hybrid, flood coating, window coating, aqueous coating, HSL coating, velvet coating, and various others, including water-based coating.
The High Drip Master was launched at PrintPack 2025 in February. It received a good response from the trade visitors who were in pursuit of advanced, modern, and capable UV coating systems. Gaur says, “Over a short span of its launch, the High Drip Master has found its owners in India and abroad. Floods of enquiries on this machine are pouring in these days.”
Customers: From Namibia and Indonesia
Now, the company has started to make a significant effort to expand the customer base of High Drip Master, both in India and overseas. Gaur says, “We receive good response, feedback, and enquiries about the features and capabilities of the machine from both the domestic and overseas markets. Just recently, we installed a unit in Namibia. Another will
be installed soon in Indonesia.”
Compared to other UV coating machines in the market, the High Drip Master is more economically viable. The price of the machine is around 40% less than the others in its class. Plus, the users of the High Drip Mater get advantages because of the machine’s substrate versatility, less power consumption, and zero make-ready time, which in turn helps them save cost and maintain on-time delivery of finished products.
Multiple new features
Being an upgraded version of the earlier Drip Master model, the High Drip Master is packed with a handful of new features. Speed and substrate versatility are two commendable capabilities of the machine. While the Drip Master had some limitations in handling lightweight papers, the High Drip Master defies the difficulty.
The High Drip Master flexibly handles lightweight papers of 60-gsm and heavyweight papers up to 500-gsm. Such advanced features of the machine fascinate clients in both the domestic and overseas markets. Plus, the SASG team guides every client, right from the installation phase of the machine till the post-sales service.
The components
The High Drip Master is available in two models (20x30-inch and 20x40-inch). It can be operated at the speed of 15,000-sph. This is an upgraded speed as compared to the 10,000-sph of its predecessor. Other advanced features of High Drip Master include the machine’s in-built water-cooled auto shutter system.
Gaur explains, “Most of the UV coating systems available in the market are designed to run at a speed of around 8,000-sph. We have seen the increasing demand for faster UV coating machines. Seeing such a need among companies that engage in high-volume jobs with strict delivery deadlines, we launched the new High Drip Master.”
Many other advanced features of High Drip Maser make this UV coating system stand apart from the others. This machine is completely synchronised with UV light. In case of a power cut or any sudden breakdown inside the machine, there will be a complete blackout with no chance of fire.
After-sales services
Being a machine developed and made in India, the High Drip Master is well commanded by the technical team of SASG, who offer training to operators. Though it’s wise to get the basic know-how and technicalities from the professionals, operators need just a little or no training at all, because the High Drip Master is a highly user-friendly and easy-to-run machine.
According to Gaur, the company is targeting at least 20 new installations in 2026. “Compared to the conventional UV coating machines currently running in many facilities and available from a handful of manufacturers, we have developed our new High Drip Master with new formulations and upgraded features that make the machine different from others technologically,” he concludes.
