Pankaj Poddar, Group CEO, Cosmo Films, said, “The new five-layer line for the manufacture of BOPP specialty films at our Aurangabad location will be the largest of its kind in the world and will allow us to expand our sales within the specialty markets.”
With 10,4-m film width, and a production speed of 600-m/min, the new machine offers the highest output possible on a BOPP film production line.
Ashok Jaipuria, chairman and managing director, added, “To go again with our long-term partner Brückner is simply a logical step. We have been working together on a basis of trust for many years and have successfully managed large projects. Current example is our first BOPET film line, which is in the final stages of commissioning: Here, too, the cooperation is trusting and close — and this spirit we will also take over in our new BOPP project.”
Cosmo Films, established in 1981, is a global leader in specialty films for packaging, lamination, labeling and synthetic paper.
