ACG receives Clean Label certification

ACG has received a certification of compliance from US-based Clean Label Project for its H+ capsules.

The Clean Label Project is a non-profit organisation that helps in ensuring product transparency and consumer safety. Its criterion to certify products includes environmental sustainability.

“ACG Capsules has long been recognised for the quality and integrity of its clean capsule design and manufacture and with this accreditation it has become the world’s first capsules to receive the certification from the Clean Label Project,” said a company press note.

Clean Label covers over 400 industrial and environmental contaminants, in addition to the food safety requirements laid out by the US Food and Drug Administration.

The H+ capsules are suitable for filling granules, powders and pellets, and are compatible with a wide range of formulations.

ACG claims that the H+ capsules also fulfill the dissolution requirement across all biological pH and has a superior heat stability with no cross-linking issues with the formulation.

“This achievement further underlines the brand’s commitment to manufacturing clean capsules that are simple, safe, healthy, and contaminant-free,” the press note added.

ACG boasts of its in over 100 countries across six continents. Its products include capsules, film and foil barriers, and engineering equipment and inspection systems.
