Udaipur’s Prime Scan forays into offset with RMGT

In its existing set up, Prime Scan is equipped with Xerox digital and Epson wide-format printer along with in-house photo and design studio, and in house CTP.

Rajesh Sharma, one of the managing partners, said, “I saw the RMGT at work in Delhi NCR, where printers were using the press for commercial and packaging jobs. We were looking for such a machine which can be used to cater to both the segments. In Delhi NCR, printers were printing 400-gsm board on RMGT printing press. We are running the same.”

Prime Scan is a partnership entity. Beside Sharma, the other partners are Hemendra Seth and Amit Agarwal. Seth and Sharma started the business in 2006 and Agarwal joined the business later. Agarwal runs an educational institute in Udaipur, and was used to be one of Sharma’s clients.

“During our freelancing days, we used to outsourced our printing jobs from Ahmedabad and cater to high-end clients. We work for few clients in southern part of the country as well. Based on our mutual consent, we always try to serve customers who want quality in print,” Sharma said.

The company has done substantial amount of work in states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andrha Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Haryana, and serves overseas clients too. “Right now, we are printing commercial and packaging jobs for our clients from tiles, education and fashion segments,” Sharma said. “We are planning to expand our portfolio in packaging.”
