"With growing demand and the need to print more realistic colours, it made it imperative for us to upgrade our press and 6085 was the perfect choice for our needs," said Nagu, managing director of Titaanic Printers.

Founded in 1997, the company started as a short-run offset unit focusing on college project work and have transformed into a full-fledged commercial unit.

"Our first digital press was in 2011 was a Canon 7010VP which is now upgraded with this machine," he added.

Apart from the new press, the company also has Canon imagePress C800, Canon imageRUNNER 8585. Their post-press equipment includes Itoh Robocut and a range of cutting, lamination, creasing, die-punching etc.

"The 6085 has hugely helped us to print close to offset quality colours and at a good speed. Add to this, our comprehensively equipped post-press line- ensures we produce complete products that make our clients happy,"  explained Nagu.

"In fact, the press passed our regression test by churning out jobs 10 hours continuously during a peak business day. This is a testament to the machine and the brand," he added.

The 6085 can print sizes from 13x19 inches to 13x51 inches up to a maximum speed of 85 ppm.

"We are so happy the performance of the press and the excellent support from team Konica Minolta that we are soon going to add another production press from them," concluded Nagu.
