Vinay Kumar Garg of Shiva Print Bazaar said the Duplo machine has helped the company increase differentiation of the company’s jobs. It has also helped the company create complex jobs to serve diversified markets.

Established in 2012, Shiva Print Bazaar serves customers in Punjab as well as Haryana for wedding boxes, wedding cards, business cards, stickers and labels, and all commercial jobs. The company has the entire processing setup for box-making and card-making.

The company’s current setup includes a Xerox V180, a Ricoh C7200X, laminators, die-cutting machines, visiting cards cutting machines, and so on. The company employs 15 workers in its 1,800-sqft shopfloor.

Garg said Shiva Print Bazaar decided to go for the spot UV and foil solution as it wanted to grow with good profit margins.

“We observed the demand in the market. The Duplo brand and TechNova’s services were the two reasons behind choosing the Duplo DDC-810,” Sonu Garg of Shiva Print Bazaar added. “Duplo is a Japanese brand. We completely trust Japan-made product performance and TechNova’s excellent support. We also wanted to invest in a device that can give us fast ROI.”

The USP of the machine include 600x600-dpi printhead; its proven AMS system of feeding; patented twin-camera registration technology that delivers first sheet saleable; simplicity of software allowing job switchover within a minute; ultra-compact footprint of the device; and highest gloss GUV varnish.

Garg said TechNova is good at after sales support and customer relationships. Its training sessions are tailor-made as per the customer’s requirement. “Initially, we were concerned, as they don’t have an engineer stationed at Ludhiana. However, they have served us very effectively and professionally.” Garg said.

The DDC-810 Digital Spot UV Coater is a compact and affordable solution which offers printers the capability to enhance their images with a layer of texture and depth-utilising inkjet technology. It adds value to print products with an eye-catching layer of spot UV embellishment.
