Romancing Print 2014 to focus on motivation, health and vaastu for the industry

The third year of Romancing Print, a yearly event hosted in Delhi by AIFMP, will see a number of sessions around the core theme: Innovation to thrive. The 2014 edition of Romancing Print will be held on 15 January at Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. The last three editions of the conference have seen around 900 printers from various parts of the country. This year too, the organisers are confident that they would not fall short of the 300 delegates mark.

Maintaining its traditional style, the first half of the conference will include keynote address by celebrity speaker, activist and author, Shiv Khera, which will be followed with another keynote address by Padmashri Dr KK Agarwal titled Romancing your lifestyle. He is expected to share various changes one can make to his lifestyle to reduce stress and practice healthy living.

An interesting session inducted to the latest edition of the conference will see Khushdeep Bansal talk about application of vaastu shastra procedure in your shopfloor and office. Wrapping up the motivational and non-technical session, Vickrant  Mahajan, author, director, actor, numerologist and motivator will also hold a session.

Kicking off the technical side of the business would be Avijit Mukherjee of Ricoh India, who will share his views on futuristic technology —trends in printing industry. This will be followed with two panel discussions. While Ramu Ramanathan, group editor, Haymarket Media India will moderate a session with Indian publishers titled, Romancing Books. He will be joined by Manas Saikia (Cambridge University Press), Subhasish Ganguly (Penguin-Random House), Vikas Gupta (Wiley India), Sugat Jain (Ratnasagar), Ganesh Venkatesan (Elsevier), and Neeraj Jain (Scholastic India).

The second panel discussion titled, Printeron Ki Leela – Printleela, will be moderated by Jacob George, publisher, PressIdeas. The panel will include Bhuvnesh Seth (Replika Press), Manoj Mehta (MUPL),  Satish Malhotra (Swan Press),  Amit Tara (Tara Art Press),  Vividh Makhija (India Offset),  and C J Jassawala (Thomson Press).

“The program is developed with the intention to provide a spark to rejuvenate yourselves, your businesses, and your lives. Innovate to thrive being at the core of deliberations, will have much for each one of you,” said AMSG Ashokan, president, AIFMP.  

“In this ever changing socio-economic and technological environment, one needs to keep learning and reinventing our businesses. Conferences offer the best opportunities to meet not only one’s colleagues and peers but also to deliberate, interact and take back enriched thoughts, for enhancing our enterprises,” added Satish Malhotra of Swan Press who has been appointed as the chairman of Romancing Print 2014. He also shared that few more technical session might be interspersed between the scheduled non-technical sessions.

Additionally, AIFMP has co-located the International Beauty Mart and Beauty Pack & Label expo. Participants will be able to interact with representatives of leading beauty, cosmetics, hair and nail art brands, as well as packaging and labelling units at the show during 14-16 January, 2014.
