Romaco India appoints Vibhash Solanki as sales director

Manufacturer of packing and process technology, Romaco India, has appointed Vibhash Solanki as the new sales director of its sales and service centres in India. The company has sales offices in Mumbai and Hyderabad, which were officially opened in July 2019.

Solanki will be responsible for marketing Romaco’s six product lines on the Indian subcontinent.  He said, “Romaco India is totally focused on its customers’ needs. We convince with high-performance solutions that are precisely adapted to the processes of local manufacturers, and we support those solutions with our comprehensive after-sales service.”

Vibhash Solanki holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has done a Master’s in Marketing Management from the University of Mumbai. He has 21 years of sales experience in the Indian pharmaceutical market, and was previously working for the sales management functions at CAM India and IMA-PG India.

Jorg Pieper, CEO, Romaco Group, said, “Vibhash Solanki is an extremely accomplished sales specialist and an industry insider who will support us very effectively in the key Indian growth market.”

Solanki will oversee the company’s sales of processing, tableting and packaging technologies in the Indian market, and will report to Pietro Tomasi, vice president sales and service, Romaco Group.

“Solanki will share the running of the company with Amol Nikam, general manager customer service, Romaco India, who is a service expert, and together they will drive our expansion on the way to becoming one of South-East Asia’s leading suppliers of packaging and processing technologies,” added Pieper.

Romaco has installed over 300 machines running in India catering to the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food and chemical industries.
