RK Printers opts for three folder-gluers from Boxtech

Vikrant Malik, managing partner and second generation of family-owned business, said, “We have a long association with Boxtech. First, we purchased two pouch-pasting machines. Following the recent installation of a pre-owned Heidelberg printing press and a Bobst die-cutter, RK Printers is looking to convert 1.5 million cartons every day.

Established in 1972, RK Printers was started by the three brothers — Rakesh Malik, KS Malik and Ramesh Malik in Anand Parvat, Delhi. The company’s new unit in IMT Faridabad is now operational, and manufactures mono cartons, labels and other packages. The Anand Parvat plant manufactures three and five-ply corrugated boxes of E and narrow flutes. Malik said the corrugation plant will be shifted to Faridabad soon.

The company specialises in mono cartons with multiple UV effects. It also produces labels, leaflets, corrugated boxes, rigid boxes, paper cache cover (paper pouches) and gift boxes. “Our products are on three major pillars of service, price and quality,” he said.

He added, “Our new building has been designed keeping sustainability and environment in mind. To reduce our carbon footprints, we have installed a solar power plant of 30 kW capacity and a rainwater harvesting plant on our premises. We believe rainwater harvesting is environmentally friendly and using the harvested rainwater is an excellent way of reducing carbon footprint and doing our bit to help the environment.”

The new plant runs round-the-clock and supplies to the segments, such as pharma, cosmetic and ready-to-eat-food packaging.
