PrintWeek India Awards 2019: Looking for eye-popping magazines
Unlike newspapers, most magazines do not have tight deadlines. This, however, give printers enough scope to improve their printing process and bring out eye-popping magazines.

Printers club various densities of paper with different colour management tools and use different finishing processes for printing to churn out quality magazines. This year, for the Magazine Printer of the Year category, the jury will look for the best examples of business and consumer magazines printed using gravure, web offset, or sheetfed process, with equal emphasis on printing and finishing.
Last year, during the tenth edition of the Awards held in Mumbai, Silverpoint Press was adjusted the Joint Winners in the Magazine Printer of the Year category along with Manipal Technologies. Archana Advertising, Dhote Offset Technokrafts, MM Publications, and Thomson Press were the other companies that came close to clinching the Award.
Silverpoint Press won the Award in 2017 and 2015, whereas Thomson Press clinched the title in 2016.
