On 22 February 2016, Replika celebrated Replika 3.0 – the third phase. “Replika, in its journey of more than five decades, has not only grown in size, from a tiny one-room business to acres, but also in its print stature and book-binding ability to cater to the publisher’s needs of creating the best of books,” Sanandan Seth, director-marketing, Replika Press, had said.

2016 was also the year it diversified into packaging, investing in converting equipment required, and installing them at the sprawling 1,32,000 sq/ft print production facility in Kundli, Haryana.

According to our auditors, Replika’s gross sales increased by 16.33% and the corresponding increase in profit before tax 55.39%, is the highest in the category. While notching 14.79% increase in overall net worth, a corresponding increase of 4.71% on return on capital and profit as a percentage of sales by 2.43%, clinched the Award for Replika.

While Replika’s post-press infrastructure boasts of book-binding machines from Heidelberg, Kolbus and SignalLyns, its converting machines for packaging are supplied by Bobst and Zhongke, among others.

Bhuvnesh Seth, managing director of Replika, says, “In today’s competitive world, if one has to remain ahead of the curve, the only option is to produce and deliver consistent quality and remain cost-effective at the same time.”
