PrintPack 2022: Printmann orders three Zhongke machines

Mumbai-based Printmann Group picked up three Zhongke machines on the fourth day of PrintPack — the WH-1050SF, a high-precision hot-foil stamping and die-cutting machine from Tokyo Wenhong; the ZK-1060V, a high-speed window-patching machine with V-notch and inline creasing system; and the YS SR108, a high-speed dry lamination machine from Yongshun.

Established in 1987, in recent years, the company has emerged as one of the reputed printing and packaging companies in India, with factories in multiple locations. Prinmann Group is managed by Bipin Tanna and his two sons, Tejas and Ankit Tanna.

The newly acquired machines will be installed at Printmann’s new state-of-art facility in Navi Mumbai.

Rohit Rajpal of Zhongke told PrintWeek that Printmann decided on the Tokyo Wenhong die-cutter based on its technology and performance. With the working pressure of 400 tonnes, the machine can efficiently run zero gripper jobs, and can handle stock thickness from 90-gsm upto 5-mm. The machine is also energy efficient as it comes equipped with 12 individual heating zones.

The window-patching machine can run blanks upto of 1,060-mm size with three verticals as well as a lateral crease options. This single machine can cater to the window-patched boxes demand for cosmetics to toys to garments industry.  

Rajpal said the dry lamination machine is the most stable equipment in its category.

“Besides Zhongke’s strong service and support system, the low power consumption of the machine and the consistent quality were the factors why Printmann chose this equipment over other available options in the market,” Rajpal said.

He added that this will be the company’s 11th installation of the machine in just Mumbai.
