PrintPack 2022: Megabound introduces four new machines

The first is an automatic board-to-board pasting machine, which is capable of operating at high speeds. Another new launch was an automatic head-binding machine. According to N Srinivasa Reddy, director-marketing at Megabound, the head binding machine is a perfect solution to replace the repetitive head-binding done manually.

Another new machine at the stall, also the star product of the company, was a casemaker capable of making round cases on PU leather. Reddy told PrintWeek that a lot of automatic casemakers are launched in Drupa, and there are hardly any displayed in India. “This is the first semi-automatic casemaker in India,” he said.

The machine is capable of producing 900 cases per hour. “It is a capable production workhorse, which can produce high quality products. The fourth new launch was a binding machine,” he added.
