PrintPack 2019: Ronald Web Offset showcases packaging solutions

Adithya Gupta, director, Ronald Web Offset, said, “Our focus is paper and board packaging. We have folder-gluers and die-cutters for mono cartons and corrugation industries.”

The company also offers a flute laminator for the corrugation industry, which comes from a Chinese manufacturer.

Gupta said as the company has experiences in machine manufacturing, in future, it may start manufacturing these machines in India. “Our principals have also agreed to manufacture some parts of the machines in India at our production facility,” he said.

The company also offers paper bags manufacturing machines and rigid box manufacturing machines. Gupta said the demand for paper bags is increasing and the main reason for this is the ban on plastic in several states. “We have sold one paper bag manufacturing machine to a customer based in Bengaluru,” he added.

On the company’s core business, web offset printing presses, Gupta said, “We have launched some new design in web offset printing presses for better printing quality. It’s a bearer-to-bearer type machine called Ronald Premium. It runs at 36,000-impressions/hour with variable width sizes.”
