Movva Naga Sandeep, director, Nagendra Enterprises, said, “Since the installation of the Heidelberg SX 74, our volumes and revenue has increased by about 30% in the past 12 months. Two reasons: this is our first brand new press, so obviously with all the automation that comes with it helps to print more. Secondly, the new machine and brand Heidelberg gives us the confidence to take up premium and high-quality print jobs.”

With the increased flow of orders at Nagendra Enterprises, Sandeep felt the need to take the automation levels few notches up in order to be able to deliver speed up its pre-press operations and ink setting and reduce human touchpoints. That’s when he decided to opt for Prinect Pro-man pre-press workflow.

“The software reduces the makeready time. It comes with a pre-flighting tool that enables us to get an instant report on what’s wrong with the artwork file. Secondly, the imposition tool, helps composing a book an extremely easy job. And finally, it also sends the ink presetting data from CTP platesetter to the press,” said Sandeep.
