At the show, the company will display its latest range of automatic rigid box making machines. This newly launched model can produce a wide variety of boxes of different shapes, sizes and styles. According to Rohit Rajpal, the  latest model can not only make boxes as small as 70x120x10 mm but can also produce as big as 400x600x125 mm. “Our machines are equipped with newly launched 70 mm deep turning device and inline robotic hand finishing bubble press,” Rajpal said.

Beside these, the company will also display two dry lamination machines from the group company Zhongke Yongshun Machinery. The water-based dry lamination machine can run minimum 6 micron polyester film with mere 8 gsm of glue coating onto film. The maximum speed of water-based adhesive dry lamination machine is 80m/min and with pre-glued film, can be as fast as 100m/min.

“Highly energy efficient, power consumption of the machine in production is only 45 kwatt as this machine uses induction heating system and thermal oil technology. This feature make them widely acceptable by Indian market as power consumption is 40% less than other machines available in the market,” Rajpal said.

Another economical version of the lamination machine, manufactured by Yongshun especially for the Indian market, will also be on display. “It runs at the maximum speed of 50m/min and is economically priced. The machine can laminate 90 gsm cromo paper to 500 gsm board. It requires only 35 kwatt power,” said Rajpal.

Zhongke India has a team of 17 people based all over India. The company provides rigid box manufacturing solutions, including lamination, grooving, box making, box assembling machines and related accessories. “Our focus is to deliver application-specific machines,” said Rajpal.

"China being a matured market for rigid box manufacturing facilities, we are closely working with top Chinese companies for technology transfer. In this arrangement, Chinese box manufacturing companies will set up their manufacturing plants in partnership with Indian packaging companies and manufacture boxes for jewellery, mobiles, shoes, electronic items and sweets, etc in India. Working on these lines, we recently established a set up in Replika Packaging, Kundli, where we installed six automatic rigid box making machines. Replika Packaging is now India's first company to be able to produce 50,000 finished rigid boxes per day,” Rajpal said.

Zhongke India has installed 15 rigid box machines in India so far. Globally, Zhongke has more than 3,000 installations. In lamination machines, it has six installations in India and 1,200 globally.

“Our manufacturing background of luxury packaging for more than two decades enables us to give precise and effective solution to our customers. Our main aim is to provide right machine for right application. At Zhongke, we have been upgrading our machines at a faster pace to match the market’s ever-changing demand for innovative packaging,” Rajpal said.

He added that the upgradation is not just for technology, but also for automation. “We have introduced inline finishing systems in our machines. Our machines are designed to consume minimum raw material to ensure lowest wastage,” he said.

At the exhibition, Zhongke wants to showcase its economical and tailor-made solutions for the packaging industry. “To serve Indian customers better, we will start to assemble our dry lamination machines in India from April 2017. Zhongke offers 15-month standard warranty on all their machines and this re-affirms our product quality,” Rajpal said.
