The other product the company will showcase at the show being held from 4 to 8 February 2017 will be the Citoborma range of paper drilling machines from the Germany-based company Hang.

Since PrintPack 2015, Gayathri Machinery/ Grover Industries has seen a huge growth in its business since. The company offers complete range of solution for the wire stitching machines starting from manual staplers, electric staplers, wire stitching machines, completely automatic saddle binding lines to staple pins and stitching wires.

The company’s flagship product, Grover Stitching Wire, has a market share of more than 30% in the Indian market. In Hohner Stitching heads, the company has a market share of 90%, with sales of over 1,000 heads per year.

The company also offers the complete range of WireO binding machines starting from table-top machines from Taiwan to fully automatic punching and WireO binding machines from Italy.

“We have also added eyeletting, paper drilling and riveting machines in our portfolio after partnering with company Hang from Germany,” Grover said. The company will also launch a new digital cutting and creasing machine in partnership with a European company at the show.

According to Grover, the most tempting spec of the Hohner Exact Plus machine would be its quick makeready time and low cost of operation. “This machine is a boon for commercial printers who do multiple short volume jobs in a single day,” he said, adding, “Our focus has always been on post-press solutions. With our product range, any print company can get good quality output at the mot cost competitive way.”

The company has sold more than 50 Hohner machines in India with close to 5,000 stitching heads running. The Grover stitching wire has a market share of close to 30% in the Indian market and we are also exporting to over 10 countries in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Looking ahead at PrintPack 2017, it is the right time to invest. “A country with 125 crore aspiring people cannot be stopped from growing. Since the government is now equipped with technology and funds, they are definitely going to spend on infrastructure. This is, in turn, going to improve the business outlook of the country and so the print industry will definitely grow,” he said.
