Kalra: "Making adhesives which add value to print"

The buzz around PrintWeek India Awards is ‘excellence in print’ and each year more and more print companies vie to be worshipped on the altar of success. When the awards go to the most deserving of the nominees, these print companies turn into superstars.

“PrintWeek India Awards represents the best in the industry, and Pidilite Industries is glad to be part of the endeavour,” said the company’s business manager Sanjiv Kalra.

According to Pidilite, it has always made adhesives which add value to print. “We have focussed on making products with the latest technologies which give better value for money to our customers in terms of higher throughput while lowering machine maintenance costs, thereby making print more affordable for consumers. Pidilite was felicitated as the best forming company in the chemical sector by Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2016,” said Kalra.

Among the emerging technologies Pidilite has been associated with, Kalra said, are its products on polyurethanes and water-based adhesive for lamination and high speed gluing application; and metallocene hot melts for high-performance requirements. “We position ourselves as an integral part of the graphic arts industry. The PrintWeek India Awards gives us a feel of the upcoming trends in the industry, and also an opportunity to network with customers.”
