In aseptic liquid packaging, Uflex showcased its prowess in holographic and foil stamping and lensed aseptic packaging. On display were 200- and 1000-ml packs, which are one of its kind and first-time innovations done at Uflex’s Asepto.

The Asepto holographic innovation has all the capabilities for strengthening the market share of beverage and dairy manufacturers around the world, for growing markets like India. The critical facet that makes Asepto surpass all contemporaries is its ability to offer aesthetic transformation for brands. The Asepto Spark and Premium unique novel holographic, multi-lens and embossing effects can create myriad possibilities for differentiation.

The Aseptic brick packs, for example, now can exude optical effects to enhance the aesthetic quotient at the point-of-sale. These features also ensure that products cannot be copied easily — a sure-shot measure to check counterfeit challenges.

With Asepto, Uflex has become the first Indian manufacturer of aseptic liquid packaging material, with a state-of-the-art facility in the industrial hub of Sanand in Gujarat. The offering is designed to deliver user convenience, easy opening and optimal shelf life to products like juices, non-aerated alcoholic beverages and highly perishable liquid consumables like milk and other dairy products.

Meanwhile, the engineering division of Uflex showcased three products at the show. Among these, the CT150C machine, with improved features for packing potato chips at high speed with no product in seal feature, was unveiled for first time ever.

According to the company it’s the only machine that addresses the challenges of packing snacks that are light in weight, yet not free falling, such as wafers. The machine, that was commercialised recently, can pack 75 to 85 pouches per minute.

The fully-automatic collar type twin head form fill and seal machine, Uflex Super CTSD, is an indigenously designed continuous motion machine for the efficient packing of various products like namkeens, tea, sugar, spices, cookies, snack foods, wafers, detergent, pulses, rice, flour, candies, etc in centre-seal pouches of size 10- to 100-gm.

The Uflex PFS is the most popular machines among dry fruit spices and chemical industry. This machine is exceptionally good for customers having various types of pouches with variable sizes. The machine can handle all type of pouches without changeover parts and with minimum changeover time.
