Mumbai's top two associations to host two webinars

The Bombay Master Printers Association (BMPA) and the Mumbai Mudrak Sangh (MMS) will be hosting two separate sessions on two burning topics on 18 October (Monday) and 19 October (Tuesday) respectively.

SN Venky of ITC-PSPD, CG Ramakrishnan of TechNova and KS Murthy of Toyo Ink will address the price hike issue which is a huge challenge for the print industry. The 90 presentation which will start at 2:30 pm will be followed by a Q&A from the online audience. The BMPA note said, "It is our aim to provide to you real answers on why this uncertain and frequent price increases and for how long do we expect this to go on."

Iqbal Kherodawala, the president of the BMPA says, "This time the hikes have been unprecedented. We must review our costs if we want to protect our bottom lines. We want to send out this strong message with the webinar".

The MMS session on 19 October at 4 pm which will be moderated by Uday Dhote is about the vexed issue of GST for printed products and services. The speakers are Kiran Garkar (CA) and Ajay Wadke (CA and Association Consultant).

Dhote said, "This webinar will provide you complete information on GST for printed products and services, from fundamentals to all the changes that have taken place from its inception in 2017 till date. It will cover Chapter 48, 49 - HSN, SAC 9989 and Job Work SAC 9988."

The MMS seminar is a paid session and priced at Rs 500. This includes a pre-webinar kit containing all relevant notifications and also a post-webinar kit containing a proper step by step presentation.
