Moradabad’s Harish & Co invests in Ricoh Pro C9110

Moradabad, UP-based paper merchant Harish & Co has invested in a Ricoh Pro C9110. The company decided upon the Ricoh machine as it wanted to have features like speed, auto duplex, quality, heavy gsm sheet printing, and so on in the machine to meet the market demand.

Harish & Co, which caters to exporters, commercial and corporates, already has three Ricoh digital production printing engines, two colour and one black and white — Ricoh Pro C5100s, Ricoh Pro C9100, and Ricoh Pro 8100se.

According to Shailendra Kumar Gupta of Harish & Co, printing on different kinds of label papers, PVC sheet and transparency through Ricoh production printer has helped the company increase volumes from 20,000 per month to 75,000-80,000.

“With this new machine, we have speed and media flexibility. This has helped us establish a unique identity in the market, thus helping the get more customers,” Gupta said, adding, “More importantly, we were able to break down the cost barriers to stay in competition.”     

He said the printing quality of the new machine is much more reliable than its last investment because it used to face colour variation while running large quantity. Moreover, the new kit allows easy handling of different media. “With this machine, we can print 400gsm auto duplex, which no other machine can,” he said.
