Monotech installs Jetsci VSRI system in Philippines

India’s leading equipment manufacturer Monotech Systems shipped its flagship Jetsci VSRI solution, integrated with YUV inkjet system, to Philippines recently. The system has been installed at DTM Print and Labels Specialist, Inc, one of the leading label printers of Philippines.

The Jetsci VSRI Installed at DTM has complete solution with uniquely designed slitter-rewinder, Jetsci YUV Inkjet printing system of 330mm, UV curing system, and can print variable data at the speeds of up to 150m/min. It’s a modular unit and can be upgraded to next levels on field any time if required.

DTM is one of the major suppliers and manufacturers of quality printed labels, printed stickers, printed tags and tickets, license plate, barcode labels and barcode hardware in The Philippines market. DTM has invested on advance printing technology, such as multicolour flexography, roto inter-letter press and CTP machines.

Thappa said, Monotech has a wide range of inkjet printing systems covering most of the customer requirements, whether it is related to budget, speed, resolutions and quality, as per application workflow on different substrates. “All Jetsci inkjet printing systems are manufactured after reviewing the requirements so that customers can get the most out of the systems,” he added.

Kingsley said the system is up and was running as per schedule. The production and operations team was trained for two days’ time and the Jetsci VSRI was put into production. “Since the system is modular and upgradable, we will look at various options by which new applications can be addressed and developed,” he added.
