By 16 Oct 2021

Mintel has organised two packaging webinars for the food and drink and beauty and personal care industries to be delivered by Dr Benjamin Punchard, director, Global Packaging Insights, Mintel.

Dr Benjamin Punchard

The webinar on Mintel’s expert on global food and drink packaging trends and the Indian market will take place on 26 October 2021 and the webinar on Mintel’s global beauty and personal care packaging trends and the Indian market will take place on 29 October 2021.

An awareness of wellbeing is at the forefront of consumers’ minds. Brands have an opportunity to set new rules, and packaging offers a route to deliver both virus-safe solutions and emotional support. Brands who tap into the value-added features consumers seek most in packaging (shelf-life, resealability, durability, and eco-responsibility) will be those that build share of mind and share of market going forward.

What do the global packaging trends mean for the food and drink industry? What are Indian consumers' preferences now in product packaging? How brands should apply those trends in their business to drive growth and product innovation?

Punchard will answer these and more questions during the webinar.

Dr Benjamin Punchard has been with Mintel since 2012. In his current role as Global Packaging Insights director, he is responsible for creating and delivering Mintel’s packaging content. Benjamin also leads the delivery of bespoke packaging insights, focusing on the specific packaging needs of Mintel’s clients.
