The machine was installed by Ahmedabad-based Arrow Digital, which distributes EFI wide-format printing machines in India.

Naresh Kumar Dasari, director at Macromedia Digital Imaging, said, “With the addition of the new EFI Vutek GS3250 LX to our portfolio, we are assured of meeting the customer deadlines with the latest green technology, with no compromise on quality. We are really fascinated with the quality and productivity of the printer and moreover the LED feature enables us to use a broad range of substrates.”

The 3.2-metre wide 10-colour hybrid printer deploys EFI’s LED Cool Cure technology.

“Customer satisfaction and retentions is a constant battle. We are constantly upgrading with the best technologies to provide a solution and value to our customer. We took rigorous trials and evaluated many platforms and were absolutely convinced with the vibrancy of the machine. The white ink opacity and three layer back-lit applications were among the features which convinced us to finalise the equipment," Dasari added.

Samir Patel, CEO and managing director, Arrow Digital, said, “The EFI Vutek GS3250 LX Pro system uses an advanced LED printing technology, printing on a 126-inch wide hybrid bed, which can accommodate roll-fed or rigid substrates, with the best colour gamut for both indoor and outdoor applications.”

The EFI Vutek GS3250 LX Pro is a 3.2-meter wide flatbed and roll-to-roll UV printer with an image quality of up to 1,000 dpi. This printer can handle rigid and sheeted media up to 126.5-inch wide and up to 2-inch thick.
