Labelexpo 2022: Daya demonstrates reel-to-reel thermal lamination kit

The newly launched 350-m machine comes with narrow and wide gaps. The high-speed machine has been especially designed for printed/non-printed labels, which can do thermal lamination from 20 to 80 microns for BOPP/ PET holographic, plain or metalised films. 

There is a heating system that is designed to suit the high-speed and the pressure is hydraulic and controlled to give strong bonding. The machine is equipped with a web guide system, auto tension controllers, and pneumatic brakes for perfect unwind and rewind. 

Sonal Sheth, director, Daya Printograph said that with customers willing to invest in technology that offers productivity, value addition and efficiency, it is important that companies offer relevant features. 

“Nowadays, every label is a brand in itself and customers want enhancement features. Lamination is one of the finishing values for labels with different films. With holographic film, security and duplicity issues are also addressed,” Sheth said.

“As it is our first time at Labelexpo, we are expecting good turnarounds and responses from present and potential customers,” Sheth concluded.
