Labelexpo 2018: Uflex installs India’s second CDI Crystal 5080 XPS

Karan Talwar of Esko said with this new installation Uflex aims to convert its rotogravure jobs to flexo with better one-to-one reproduction, perfect standardisation across their units and error-free production work.

The CDI Spark 4260 primarily addresses flexo applications such as flexible packaging and folding cartons.

“The machine was installed earlier this month and should be up and running by the start of next month,” Talwar added.

The CDI Crystal 5080 XPS provides the integration and automation of digital imaging and LED UV exposure improves consistency and overall ease of use. This solution not only frees up valuable operator time but also reduces maintenance and the footprint of the flexo equipment.

The CDI Crystal 5080 XPS was the winner of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2017.
