Established in 1995, Shree Ajit has been manufacturing Kraft papers since 1997

“We are the one-stop solution provider for high strength kraft paper, and visitors came to our stall during the exhibition looking for the same,” Chetan Baliga, senior manager, marketing & sales, Shree Ajit Pulp and Paper, said.

Established in 1995, Shree Ajit has been manufacturing kraft papers since 1997. In the recent years, higher capacity utilisation by the company has led to its growth track, while cost reduction and cost control techniques have resulted in improved bottom lines. Now, modernisation of the existing production facility and additions to the production capacity are projected as the next path of success.

“Due to modern equipment and automation of the plant, the quality of our products stands above par with the best recycled kraft paper available in the country. Thus, the product remains unaffected despite climatic or market changes,” said Baliga. “Also we have an imported online quality control system and a modern laboratory equipped with latest paper testing machines as per TAPPI standard.”

On the recent trends in corrugation packaging sector in India, Baliga said while the converters are going for automation, there has been a demand for high strength boxes.
