France’s Vianord makes its India debut at Labelexpo India 2016

Vianord Engineering, established in 2012 by a group of specialists in the field of flexo platemaking process and equipment, claims that Vianord is the first modular fully automatic flexo plate processing system in the world. The company offers modular units which can be updated in stages.

The Evo4 IP processor, which Pinmark has installed, can process plates of sizes of up to 120x160 cm, a plate thickness of up to 0.7 mm and comes with the exclusive ‘wave’ solvent separation feature; a new 3D brush motion system with servo drive letting a soft mechanical start, and a constant and repeatable washout speed; the digital washout section, an all rotary and flatbed combination.

Rutul Zaveri had told PrintWeek India during Durpa 2016, “The speed ratio along the whole process is great. We have also been hunting for new technology and when this one came by, I thought, let’s try this one.”

Speaking to PrintWeek India during Labelexpo India 2016, Massimiliano Merlo, global director, marketing and sales, Vianord Engineering, said the company's state-of-the-art manufacturing sites in France and Italy continue to raise the bar in manufacturing practices and are based on the ‘lean enterprise’ concept where processes are continuously optimised to reduce key input requirements like time, space and capital.
