Flint commits to UN Global Compact for sustainability

Flint Group Packaging Inks, a global leader dedicated to serving the global packaging industry, has announced that it has become a signatory of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, effective May 2020.

The global initiative calls on companies to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption, and to enact actions that advance sustainable development goals.

Thomas Gray, strategy and marketing director at Flint Group Packaging Inks, said, “We have a clear sustainability vision to support packaging markets with responsibly built products and sustainable solutions designed for circular economies. To be a conscientious packaging inks and services provider means taking our sustainability commitments seriously." 

Flint Group Packaging Inks develops, manufactures and markets an extensive portfolio of printing consumables for a wide range of print technologies and packaging applications as well as offering a wide range of value-adding service solutions. The company has recently initiated a series of whitepapers addressing its sustainability strategy and activities.
